Are batteries included?
No – it takes 2 standard AAA batteries, which are not included. Alkaline or rechargeable both work.
Does it have a timer?
No, it uses a simple on/off slide switch on the back battery box. If you’d like it to run on a schedule, the low-draw LEDs are ideal for rechargeable AAAs that you top up every few days.
Can I use it outdoors on a covered porch?
It’s an indoor piece: the painted wood and the battery box aren’t sealed against moisture. A screened porch on a dry evening is fine, but bring it in overnight and keep it away from rain and dew.
