Allyix · Pink Christmas
A candy shop, ten feet long.
Seventy felt pom balls in white, pink, hot pink and cocoa brown, strung with nine oversized felt sweets – gingerbread men, gingerbread houses, candy canes, peppermint swirls and one frosted tree. Drape it over the mantel and the room turns into a gingerbread house.

On the strand
Everything that’s threaded on.
Poms do the color; the felt pieces do the storytelling. Here’s the count, with sizes.

Pom colors: white, light pink, hot pink and cocoa brown – the same four that run through every felt piece.
Why felt
Soft, light and impossible to shatter.
A pom garland behaves differently from a glass one – in all the ways that matter in a house with kids, cats and a mantel over a fireplace.
Where it goes
Six places it looks like it belongs.
Made for the mantel – but a 10-foot strand goes further than that.

How to hang it
Five minutes, no tools.
Will it fit?
Ten feet against the usual spots.
One strand covers most single spots in a house. Here’s how it lays out.
| Your spot | Strands | How it lays |
|---|---|---|
| Mantel, 4–6 ft | 1 | One gentle swag with the tails tucked behind the ends. |
| Mantel, 6–8 ft | 1 | Two shallow dips, or a nearly straight line with short tails. |
| Standard doorway (3 ft wide × 7 ft tall) | 1 | Across the top with the tails falling 2–3 ft down each side. |
| Staircase banister, 8–12 ft | 1–2 | Loose spiral or scallops; join two strands at a baluster for longer rails. |
| Christmas tree, 6–7.5 ft | 1 as accent · 2–3 to wrap | Wind through the front as an accent, or two to three strands top to bottom. |
| Dessert table, 6 ft | 1 | Swag along the front edge, tails taped under the tablecloth. |
| Wall behind a bed or photo corner | 1 | Two hooks 5–6 ft apart give one deep, photogenic swag. |
Pair it with
Build the gingerbread room.
The garland sets the palette – pink, white, cocoa. Here’s what finishes it.

Care & storage
Felt is easy. Keep it dry and out of the fire.

- ✓Spot-clean only. Dab with a barely damp cloth; don’t soak – wet felt pills and loses its shape.
- ✓Keep it clear of flame and heat. Above a fireplace is fine; hanging into the firebox, near candles or over hot bulbs is not.
- ✓Indoors only. Felt drinks up rain and fog; a covered porch on a dry day is the limit.
- ✓Décor, not a toy. A 10 ft cord and small poms – hang it out of reach of babies and toddlers and away from cribs.
- ✓Pets. Cats love poms. Hang it high enough that it isn’t a toy for them either.
- ✓Store coiled, not folded. Loose coils in a box, away from damp, and it comes out next year the way it went in.

Questions
Asked before adding to cart
How much of the 10 feet is actually decorated?
About 6.6 ft carries the poms and felt pieces. The remaining length – roughly 3.4 ft in total – is plain strand at the ends, which is what you tie, loop or tuck to hang it.
Is it one piece or do I assemble it?
One continuous strand, threaded and ready. Untangle it out of the bag, find the center, and hang.
Will it hold on a mantel without nails?
Yes – it’s light. Removable adhesive hooks, mantel clips or painter’s tape on the underside of the shelf all work. Anchor the plain tails, not the poms.
Is it OK for a kid’s room?
As décor, yes – it’s soft and there’s nothing to shatter. It is still a 10 ft cord with small poms, so hang it well out of reach of babies and toddlers and never over a crib.
Can I use it outside on the porch?
We don’t recommend it. Felt soaks up damp and fades in sun. A fully covered, dry entry for a party afternoon is fine; days outdoors are not.
